                Family Ambassador Program

You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. This includes getting involved with the school council. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.

Thank you to all the parents/guardians who joined us for our first School Council meeting on Monday, October 6 at 6:30pm! We are thrilled to have several new members and new co-chairs. Minutes are posted on the school website. We will meet next on Monday, December 1. All are welcome!

Check out our Family Ambassador Program brochures! These will be updated early this fall with new and returning volunteers.Consider joining as an ambassador to support new families to Bond Lake especially if your home language is not listed. This will allow for the school community to reach more families. Please email tammy.dillon@yrdsb.ca to express your interest.

Fresh from the Farm: Thank you to all of the families who placed orders for Fresh from the Farm. Orders close tonight (Friday, October 17) at 11:59pm. By purchasing fresh apple and vegetable bundles, you can enjoy healthy, local produce for your family while also supporting Ontario farmers and helping us raise money for the school. This year, families can even choose to purchase an apple or vegetable bundle to be donated to a family in our community. Please click the link to place your order:  Fresh From the Farm - Bond Lake PS

If your family could benefit from receiving a donation, please email tammy.dillon@yrdsb.ca to share your interest in receiving an apple and/or vegetable bundle.
