Check out our Family Ambassador Program brochures!

Summer Fair Pre-Orders: Like last year, families will have the option to pre-order pizza combos and bubble tea through SchoolCash Online. Combos will include two slices of pizza (pepperoni, cheese, veggie or deluxe) and and a choice of bottled water, Pepsi or ginger ale for drink. All orders will take place on SchoolCash Online. Watch for the email and be sure to order by the deadline date of Monday, June 9.

Request for Silent Auction Items and/or Sharing of Talents: As our BLPS School Council works to prepare for our Summer Fair, they have asked us to share two requests with our parent/guardian community:

  1. We are looking for donated items for a silent auction with our theme of ‘Summer Fun’. Donations can be dropped off at the main office any time before Monday, June 6.  If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Dillon or Ms. Kuk.
  2. We are seeking talented members of our school community to volunteer to share their talents at our Summer Fair. If you have a special skill (e.g., face painting, Henna, balloon animals etc.) and would be willing to give your time to share it at the Summer Fair, please email us at bond.lake.ps@yrdsb.ca

BLPS Community Clean-Up: On May 20th, our students in grades 1 - 8 will be participating in a community cleanup around the school; this is a good opportunity for them to learn the importance of being clean and taking care of our earth. They will be divided into different groups, led by our experienced grade 8's; and will spend a portion of the day helping to create a better environment!

Students will each be given 1 glove and there will be garbage bags to dispose of items after the cleanup. We will also be going through safety rules before we start.

Make sure to encourage your children to have a positive mindset!

Student Pick-Up: A reminder to all families that the end of the school day is a very busy time and all staff are actively engaged in supporting students to prepare for the transition home. To help ensure student safety, we ask that parents/guardians not pick students up between 2:00-2:25 pm.
